The horses were happy, well taken care of and welltrained. An incredible attention from Sally making sure that "the rider and the horse" is okay. A lot of planning and logistics to make the ride happen! Red first South of Quito then North. The Northern part of the ride incredibly beautiful! (Posted on 27/02/2017)
The riding was good, but the thing that really made this holiday stand out was the extent to which we got introduced to the country and the people. Staying at an Andalusian stud farm and visiting its private museum of pre-Columbia artifacts, the indigenou Review by Mattie

Met expectations. Horses were fit and forward going and the tack was in good condition. The itinerary for the riding had to be changed because torrential rain the day before we started made the going dangerous, but despite that we had good riding in a variety of environments. Food generally good, and more varied than I had expected as a vegetarian. Particular mention of the picnics on the Pinian section which were quite excellent. (Posted on 27/02/2017)

There was some great riding on this holiday, but this was so much more than a riding holiday. It was an introduction to a fascinating country. We met many Ecuadoreans from a range of backgrounds (though most of them horsey!) and they were uniformly friendly and welcoming. The three days at Pinan - an isolated indigenous community - were especially interesting. Our quite exceptional guide introduced us to the villagers' way of life and helped us appreciate the surrounding landscape as a living entity. Thank you.

Excellent. I'd probably rate this in my top 5 riding holidays because of the beauty of Ecuador, friendliness of the people, standard of the guides and quality of the horses. And I was fortunate to be riding with a lovely group of people who all got and had a lot of fun
