INSPIRING TRIP! Review by DC

Via Tripadvisor: "Giles and Miranda work tirelessly to ensure their visitors comfort and enjoyment. They treat guests as friends, and display huge generosity in all ways. The greeting from Giles as we arrived was warm and friendly, a bottle of wine in our apartment was waiting for us, and much appreciated!. The accommodation was super clean, comfortable and with [essential] efficient air.con. The riding experience was efficiently organised. GIles and Miranda have hit upon the perfect combination of ensuring each rider is safe, but by no means mollycoddled. The horses are sensitive individuals, definitely not 'bog standard' riding school nags! Although I have ridden regularly since a small child, the riding was still quite challenging, as we rode for 4 hours over varied terrain, starting at 6am under the stars, this is not for beginners! The scenery was stunning and to see the sunrise from horseback was very special. When we slithered off our mounts back at the ranch, the pretty pool area was a fabulous way to cool off and relax until lunch. This brings us to the food…absolutely gorgeous. Fresh and tasty, prepared for us by either Miranda or the bubbly, very friendly Kathy. We were treated to a night out at the Spanish riding show. [This has really inspired me to take dressage lessons as the eldest member of the Sanchez family [Grandad] at 80 yrs old, was a beautiful rider.] I am in awe of what this couple have achieved, and grateful to be allowed to be part of it. Definitely be back!"

Fabulous week in Coin with Giles and Miranda who are fantastic hosts. The accommodation is of true Spanish style, clean, cool and comfortable. There is a fridge and cooking facilities with tea, coffee, milk and a bottle of wine provided on arrival. The horses are a credit to them, extremely well cared for with excellent stabling, well schooled with lovely temperaments. Each of us perfectly matched to a mount for the week. Coin is a short walk (5/10 minuets) up hill with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants if you wish to go out or need anything. The food provided is excellent, you dine as a group, with as much wine as you require. The riding is different every day, from Pine Forests to Orange grooves, through agricultural land, villages and rivers, all with stunning scenery. We loved every minute and hope to return. Thank you (Posted on 17/07/2017)

I have just got back from my second riding holiday with Miranda and Giles, and I have to say they surpassed themselves again. Once again I had the most beautiful, fit, sure footed horse called Lucy who was a real star. The rides were all different in the most wonderful country side from pine forest to mountain areas to riding along and in the rivers. They were all exciting with long canter and gallops to keep us all on our toes and entertained. Giles and Miranda are the most hospitable hosts, both on the rides and back at their stunning ranch. The accommodation is first rate and the food wonderful - all freshly made and served on the patio area above the pool. The other guests were a delight. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday to horse lovers and riders - I've already booked for next year. Thanks to both Miranda and Giles for a magical week. (Posted on 17/07/2017)

have returned from my second riding holiday already wanting to return as soon as possible. Giles and Miranda had a tough time during the floods of 2016 but have excelled themselves on the refurbished pool and terrace areas. The horses are magnificent, the accommodation lovely and the food wonderful. Riding is 4 hours ish each day through the wonderful country side on fit and well trained horses that are a cut above most. My non riding partner came with me this time and enjoyed exploring the area when I was riding. I would also like to add that I'm no spring chicken but this holiday is suitable for all ages (not for beginners). (Posted on 17/07/2017)
