A really great riding holiday! Review by MS

I had a great riding Holiday in Galiny. I would recommend the place for people wanting a countryside or riding holiday in a cozy manor setting.

The room in the palace was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. (Posted on 22/03/2019)
This is the best family resort I've ever stayed at in my life. Review by George

This is the best family resort I've ever stayed at in my life. The combination of a wonderful and responsive staff, the size and quality of rooms, gourmet meals at the restaurant, and the variety of activities on the grounds (hiking, horseback lessons) make this a premium, if not THE PREMIUM, family resort in Europe. The meals were varied each evening, and very Polish, with the staff actually cooking to meet the desires of the guests. One example: we informed the kitchen staff that we had some family members allergic to certain foods, and others preferring gluten-free meals. Our supper that evening was ENTIRELY gluten-free, with all foods labeled in English and Polish, and, most important, still delicious. (Posted on 22/03/2019)
Lovely return visit Review by Magnus & Helen

We opted to have a full week of lessons as we are still beginner/intermediate riders and find the concentrated period of tuition really helpful at bringing us on. This was a return visit for us so we knew what to expect and what the facilities were like - and they did not disappoint. Once again we rode a wide range of excellent horses (12 between us) that allowed us to test our abilities as far as we wanted to - from something steady all the way up to competition horses. Patrycja and Ewa were great teachers - friendly and patient but also persistent and with an eye for the details - and they kept things varied and fun. We fully intend to return again.
We had a lovely warm room on the first floor of the grange with plenty of space to relax between rides and store things out of the way. The menu was very similar to our last visit, but remains full of delicious choices - there wasn't a single meal we didn't enjoy, although if staying for a week you will likely end up having some options twice. With everything (except alcohol) included in the price you can drop in to the bar for a drink after a ride any time.

The forest trails provide plenty of walking and cycling options for downtime and do help ease the stiffness of three hours riding a day. You may well be accompanied by the stables' dog, a friendly terrier that knows how to convince you to bring him treats from the breakfast buffet!

The whole staff team are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Many of them remembered us from a visit 9 months previously and came to say hello. The stability in the group of staff adds to the warm atmosphere and quality of service.
