The terrain is ideal to explore on horseback with a unique landscape of dramatic peaks, lush valleys and towering palms. The horses are sure-footed, responsive Colombian Criollo. The area has an enviable climate and is home to an diverse selection of flora and fauna. The Cocora valley is also the best place to see Colombia's national tree, the Quindio Wax Palm.
