What to Bring
Passports, Visas, and Other Documents
Please remember to put all important documents in a safe but easy to retrieve location.
Medical Coverage
Please check that your existing medical program offers coverage on trip. If not or in any event you may wish to augment it with traveler insurance which will provide trip coverage. All riders should be covered by a insurance program of one sort or another.
Riding Helmets
We strongly urge the use of riding helmets. On some trips  use is mandatory. For those of you who choose not to wear helmets some type of hat to protect you from the sun and possible rain is advised.
Riding Boots
You may wish to bring a back up pair in areas where  wet conditions may be encountered.
Rainproof gear
for riding is advisable especially in area or during a season where some amount of rain is normal during the course of riding day. Ponchos are supplied by  outfitters on some rides.
Riding clothes
should include riding britches, riding gloves, and if jeans or shorts are worn, you need   either half or full chaps. We recommend a minimal of two pair of riding pants or britches for week long trip.
Clothing that can be easily layered
during the riding portion of the day for removal or putting on depending  upon weather conditions.

Luggage on inn to inn trips, or camping trips should be suitable for normal degree of wear and tear.
You may wish to bring extra bags (plastic or cloth) for soiled riding riding clothes.
Repair tools are carried by many clients and include things like Swiss Army type knifes. Please remember that recent airline rules make it necessary to place any instrument that may be construed as a weapon into baggage that is checked .
