| What: |
Sunday to Saturday with 5days of lessons including two -one hour lessons per day and morning or afternoon hacks. Our riding center The Molino is located on the outskirts of Madrid. Your instructor for the week Salvador Fabregas, one of the major participants in the Spanish equestrian world The training is always customized to the riders field of experience and competence in dressage, jumping or three day eventing. Salvador is not for the weak of spirit or fitness. He will work you hard on superb horses. The morning or afternoon hack is among the low lying mountains offers dramatic landscapes, ancient villages, and plenty of good room to get up and go and a nice relief from the more vigorous lessons. Operates March 19 through November 12. Sunday arrival/Saturday departure.

There is a single supplement of $375 US. |
| Horsesense: |
Pura Raza Espanola, Lusitano crosses, Andalusian, Angloarab, Irish and English thoroughbreds will entertain you in Dressage up to Grand Prix, jumping up to 1.2 metres(nearly 4 feet) and Three Day Eventing up to 2 stars. Training conducted by present members of Spanish riding establishment. The property is owned and operated by Salvador Fabregas, a driving force in Spanish Three Day Event Olympic Committee. |

| Getting There : |
| Madrid International Airport is your scheduled transfer location and the ride to the center is under an hour. Normal pickup time and day of week is: 12:00 noon on Sundays. Drop off time at airport and day of week is: leaving the Molino at 07:00 am. |

| Although the Molino is part of a property that has been featured in Architectural Digest, they are building a newer , larger home and guests will stay in Pedraza at the very comfortable and historic El Hotel de la Villa, located within one of those rural medieval locations that seem to sprout up all over Europe. |

| ITINERARY |
DRESSAGE AND TRAIL RIDING WITH PUREBRED SPANISH AND OTHER HORSES
SUGGESTED ITINERARY: Actual itinerary should be customized to your level of experience and thereby the training required. |
| Day1: |
Arrival at Madrid-Barajas airport. Guests are picked up and driven to the Molino. They will spend some time getting acquainted with the house, their accommodation and the horses.Dinner will be served in the Molino at dining tables, which are fashioned from old wine presses. Augusta is Italian and an excellent gourmet cook of Spanish and Italian dishes. The Molino’s big vegetable garden offers all kind of organic vegetables freshly picked every day. Rioja wine will be served at dinner. |
| Day2: |
After breakfast, a mini “clinic “ to assert the rider’s capabilities followed by an introduction to basic dressage on highly trained horses. In the afternoon a trail ride in the countryside through shaded areas of Poplar, Juniper, Spanish Oak and Pine Trees, under the majestic gaze of the medieval town of Pedraza, its castle dominating the scenery from afar. Dinner at the Molino. |
| Day3: |
After breakfast we will continue introducing (or improving ) the different figures of basic dressage: different paces, transitions, seat, etc. In the afternoon a hack in the “Cañada Real” (Queen Isabella’s XVth century green pasture highways which cross Spain). Ride to and through the walled town of Pedraza standing out proudly on a rocky crag. Dinner at the Molino. A great collection of videos and DVDs are available in the community room for guests. |
| Day4: |
Advancing in flatwork: lateral movements and changes of lead or ´for those who are ready , jump some fences or do some gridwork. A trail ride through picturesque villages overlooking the bank drop of the Sierra de Guadarrama mountains in the powerful Castilian landscape. Gallop over open fields of grass or harvested grains. Enjoy the widespread fields of sunflowers ( in season).Dinner at the Molino. |
| Day5: |
Lessons continue in the morning. After lunch, afternoon free to visit the ancient town of Segovia. A driven guided tour of its Cathedral, Roman aqueduct, Romanesque churches and its romantic castle, the “Alcazar”. Afterwards free time to shop and wander around the historic city. Return by taxi. Dinner at the Molino. |
| Day6: |
Practise and evaluate exercises learned during the week. Relaxed trail ride in the afternoon and one last fun gallop for whoever is in the mood for it. |
| Day7: |
Breakfast and transfer to the Barajas airport in Madrid. |
