Description: Sepulveda is a restored, hacienda with a wonderful
spa, professionally run, very comfortable rooms decorated with the history of
the area, a wonderful restaurant and attractive country to ride through. Jalisco
the province where Sepulveda is located is home to great charro tradition of
Mexico, and the horses reflect the pride the charros brings to their
horsemanship. History seems to talk to you all the time at the hotel, the site
of a British reality show, and home to one of Mexico's oldest and most respected

Western or English (only 1) saddles are available.
Breeds are quarter horses, Arabian Mexican criollo,
appaloosas and Pure blod(Registered
Andalusian).There are 16 horses in the herd. 1
guide to 6 riders. Minimum age of fourteen. Weight
restrictions over 230 pounds. Group size 2 to 8
riders.

Your rooms at this boutique spa hotel will be large,
with comfortable ensuite facilities, TV, telephone,
heating unique Stove you will have to place some
wood to heat up the room in the winter. Some rooms
offer a terrace, some a Jacuzzi. Breakfast, lunch
and dinners are feasts in their own right. Soft
beverages accompany your meals, alcohol is available
for purchase. With large spa wet area, this
boutique 15 room restored hacienda/spa offers a
level of comfort that seems perfect for those
looking to ride and relax, and unwind from their
everyday demands. And if a facial doesn’t appeal who
could resist a chocolate wrap? Meal times in
Mexico vary from other locations and we encourage
joining the local pattern of things. Breakfast 8 – 9
am, lunch at 2:30 and dinner at 8 or 9 pm As part
of being in another country, different costumes, we
always suggest our North American clients to try to
eat at this hours |

| Weather: |

The weather in this area of Mexico is mild year
round with warm afternoons and cool evenings, from
Mid November to Mid February. During the rest of the
year the nights are refreshing but not cold. July
and August may bring a few hours of rain but that is
not a daily event. |

| II- DAY BY DAY SAMPLE TOUR ITINERARY: |
| Day1: |
Sunday: Transfer
from Airport to Hotel Hacienda Sepulveda & SPA
Tour visiting the Hacienda 30 min. Lunch in the
Hacienda Restaurant “Mamalena”. After lunch riders may
familiarize themselves with their mounts, tack and
enjoy a short two hour ride around the hacienda.
Dinner In the hotel restaurant. |
| Day2: |
Monday: Participate in making
your breakfast by learning how to make Chilaquiles
(Tortilla Chips, with tomato sauce, cheese and cream.
After we saddle the horses, we will ride to Rancho El
Monte where you will be able to ride through the 1,000
acres of the property and its surrounding lands. Ride
along river beds, through pastures and corn fields, to
a potrero named sabana Africana, and ride on well
maintained trails. Enjoy a picnic lunch in Rancho El
Monte. Ride back to Evening back to Hacienda
Sepulveda.
Dinner at the Hacienda Restaurant. 4 to 5 hours
riding time. |
| Day3: |
Tuesday: Breakfast in the hacienda restaurant. After
we saddle horses, today we will ride along the Lago´s
River. We will pass by the Olmos woods, with it’s very
old and tall trees. After a 2 hour ride, arrive in
Hacienda La Labor where you will meet Mr. Jesus Vega
the owner. You will be able to admire Mr. Vega saddle
collection, visit the Hacienda and if you´re lucky you
can enjoy the unique way of the Mexican roping. Lunch
in the Hacienda, typical Mexican food, delicious
traditional Hacienda meal. After Lunch Ride with the
owners of this beatufull Hacienda in their property 2
hrs. At evening, back to Hacienda Sepulveda 1 hr
Riding Total 5 hrs Riding. Special Diner will be
served. |
| Day4: |
Wednesday: Breakfast in the
hacienda restaurant. Relax day: SPA, Swimming pool,
Jacuzzi in garden, mountain bikes, Fishing, hiking,
Board games. Lunch in the hacienda gardens, (Grill) In
the evening, City Tour to the Colonial City of Lagos
de Moreno visit its beautiful plazas and historical
buildings. walk in the historic downtown, you will
have the opportunity to visit the antiques store of
Montecristo and Shopping at the equestrian charro
store "El Malecon" Dinner on the third patio in
Hacienda Sepulveda. |
| Day5: |
Thursday: Breakfast in the
hacienda restaurant. Saddle horses and Ride to El
Salto cascades. You will see El Chipinque village. We
will arrive to the Ranch of Santa Ana de Arriba, we
will cross the ranch and then you will see El Salto
dam, We will ride besides the El Salto dam, and after
1 hour, we’ll leave horses behind and start to walk
through small rocks and paths, after a 20 min walk we
will arrive to Cascades of El Salto, 2 nice cascades,
where the river that arrives there has many shapes .
Picnic lunch in the cascades. Ride back to Hacienda
Sepulveda. Dinner at the Hacienda Restaurant
(Last summer the properties owner Jose Serrano reports
I galloped from Hacienda Sepulveda to Santa Ana Ranch,
all the way and it took me around 45 min running with
no stoping, So if you walk and run, that’s what
usually we do, it will take you around 90 minutes.
Then from Santa Ana to the cascades its around 45
min, (you canot run or gallop in this area) |

Massages
Holistic - A massage in which we initiate with
reflexology, continuing with a mix of relaxation
techniques, lymphatic drainage, shiatsu, muscle
de-contraction and a facial and head massage. This
method allows you to achieve a balance of body, mind

Head, neck & back- Reflexology followed by a relaxing
neck, back, leg and head massage. This massage
provides the perfect energy renewal.

This treatment focuses on the lower extremities.
Through a lymphatic drainage massage and relaxing
postures, we achieve total relaxation of the legs and

Chocolate wrap -

of the back and legs with natural oils and continues
with an exfoliation of the front of your body with an
