Riding Holidays | Staffordshire - England
The county of Staffordshire is located in the West Midlands area of England.
The wild Staffordshire Moorlands in the north of the county provide great horse riding adventures, with plenty of wide open spaces and gentle hills, so riders can go at whatever pace they choose. Forest riding is available in abundance in the county, with both the National Forest, boasting over 200 square miles of woodland, and also Cannock Chase, one of the UK’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. At Cannock Chase there is a varied landscape perfect for long hacks and trail rides amongst the picturesque landscape of rolling heathland and pine forests, packed with many different local wildlife species, including wild deer.
It is possible to enjoy a horse riding holiday in Staffordshire with various equestrian centres throughout the county. For even more options, see neighbouring county Shropshire.
