The county of Nottinghamshire is situated in the East Midlands of England.

Nottinghamshire is home to many county parks which can be enjoyed on horseback. For example, Clumber Park (National Trust-owned) offers thousands of acres of idyllic scenery and luscious grassy areas, perfect for a tranquil ride on a sunny day, where horse and rider can relish in the peaceful surroundings. Additionally, there is a good network of bridleways across the county.
