Riding Holidays | Shetland Islands - Scotland
The Shetland Islands form an archipelago off the North-East coast of Scotland.
The awe-inspiring scenery you’ll find in the Shetland Islands is complemented by the area’s fantastic collection of wildlife, including of course, the Shetland pony. In total, the islands boast a coastline of almost 1,700 miles – an enchanting mix of sheltered sandy coves, pebble beaches and dramatic rocky cliffs to be discovered on horseback. Alternatively, head inland to hack over the heather-clad hills and gentle slopes in complete tranquillity.
We are currently unaware of any equestrian holiday centres in the Shetland Islands, but can recommend many in the county of Highland, over the water in mainland Scotland.
