Riding Holidays | Liberia

Liberia is a small west African coastal country, located next to Côte d’Ivoire and Sierra Leone. There are no horse riding holidays in Liberia. Traditionally Liberia was known for its stunning and extensive African rainforest, home to many rare animal and bird species including forest elephants and pygmy hippos. The coast is full of lagoons and mangrove delta areas, ideal for bird life. Liberia has a hot tropical climate and a long wet season from May to October. The country has a wonderful culture of dancing, artistic mask making and story telling, however it is not currently a favourable travel destination due to unrest.
