Equatorial Guinea is a small country in central west Africa, on the Atlantic coast between Cameroon and Gabon. It is rather off the beaten tourist map and is not currently set up with tourism in mind. However the country does have interesting places and some lovely wilderness areas to see.

While it is a small nation, Equatorial Guinea has a varying landscape of inland rainforest and volcanic mountains, to coastal beaches, mangroves and islands as well as lots of traditional African culture in small rural villages. The official languages are Spanish and French.
