Riding Holidays | Democratic Republic of the Congo
The Democratic Republic of Congo lies in central Africa between the Central African Republic, Angola and Uganda. It is a country of huge African rainforest, rivers, lakes and volcanoes, including the long Congo river valley. The country also shares part of Lake Tanganyika. The Congo rainforest has an extraordinary wealth of animal and plant life with many rare and endangered species, such as the chimpanzee, forest elephants and mountain gorillas. The country has high rainfall and the highest frequency of thunderstorms in the world!
There are no known horses or horse riding holidays in the D. R. Congo. We are always looking for new riding destinations and regularly update the information on this site. If you have information about horse riding in D. R. Congo please do contact us.
The D. R. Congo remains unstable and has a big humanitarian problem due to ongoing conflict. It is currently not a favourable tourist destination.
