Riding Holidays | Central African Republic

The Central African Republic is bordered by Cameroon, Sudan, Chad and the Congos. It is a country of mainly open savannah with desert in the very north east and the granite Yade Massif in the north west. The climate is hot and humid, not beneficial to keeping horses, compounded by the prevalence of tsetse flies.

While it has some exciting scenery and lots of wildlife, the Central African Republic is a poor nation with subsistence farming the main industry. It is still rather unstable and so not currently a favourable tourist destination.
