Riding Holidays | Western Sahara

Western Sahara is a disputed territory on the west coast of Africa and is governed mainly by Morocco. It is a land covered by the Sahara Desert and is very sparsely populated. Nomadic tribes use Arab and Barb horses as transport across the desert due to their hardiness and great stamina, ideally suited to this desert terrain. Western Sahara is not currently a favourable travel destination due to the ongoing dispute over its lands.
