Riding Holidays | Togo
Togo is a small narrow country located in west Africa on the Atlantic coast between Benin and Ghana. Togo does not really have a horse culture and there are few horses, due partly to the county’s hot and humid climate. There is a native breed called the Togo pony, a small lightly built pony with high set tail.

Togo is a hot, tropical country with a mainly hilly landscape, similar to Benin. There is grassy savannah in the north and woods in the south along with coastal lagoons and marshland. The country has a varied culture and the capital city is Lomé. French is widely spoken.
