The landlocked county of Shropshire is located in the West Midlands of England.

Shropshire is a quintessential rural English county, home to some of the most peaceful and least populated countryside in the country. Horse riding is an important element of life in Shropshire, with an extensive bridleways network and countless enjoyable trail rides such as The Jack Mytton Way, known for its fantastic sweeping views of the unspoilt landscape. In the south of the county are the Shropshire Hills (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), where horse and rider can hack across thousands of acres surrounded by stunning scenery – riding is especially enjoyable on the fantastic natural heather and moorlands in places such as the Long Mynd and the the Clee Hills.
