North Ayrshire is a county in South-West Scotland.

The landscape of North Ayrshire is perfect riding country – with peaceful hilly countryside and a fantastic coastline with both sandy beaches and exciting cliff-top trails. Also belonging to the county is the Isle of Arran, one of Scotland’s largest islands. The island is often described as a mini version of Scotland itself, being split into Highlands and Lowlands – each landscape with a different mountainous terrain on offer for horse and rider. The Isle of Arran Coastal Way is an exciting trail along which you can fully enjoy the varied shoreline. Perhaps you might even ride into the evening and watch the sunset behind one of the many bays, where the island is at its most beautiful.
