The Scottish county of Midlothian shares a border with the City of Edinburgh.

Midlothian is home to a variety of country parks, set in the peaceful landscape of rolling farmland, forests and sweeping valleys. A great riding spot is Pentland Hills Regional Park, where horse and rider can escape into wide open grassland and discover local wildlife. Alternatively, you could head into the Esk Valley which is packed with reservoirs and gentle grassy slopes.
