Guinea-Bissau is a small country between Guinea and Senegal in west Africa. It is a tropical country with a breathtaking coastline including the Bijagós archipelago full of white sandy beaches. There are also mangrove forests and wide rivers, inland savannah areas, plus rainforest in the south, home to elephants and chimpanzees.

Guinea-Bissau has a rainy season between June and October. December to April is very dry and can be windy. The capital city is Bissau.
