Riding Holidays | Eritrea

Eritrea is situated on the horn of Africa, between Ethiopia and Sudan. It is a dry arid country with a long Red Sea coastline and a big central mountain range, home to the capital city Asmara.

There are some working horses in Eritrea, both ridden and in harness, but there are no known horse riding establishments and no horse riding holidays in Eritrea. Eritrea is a poor country and most people live in small rural villages following simple lifestyles relying on agriculture. The country is not geared up for tourism outside the major cities.
